all about the girl

I've had a few thoughtful emails this week asking about how Tilly has coped with the disruption in the house recently.

Pretty well, I think!

We have been careful to always be clear who would be home with her and who would be at the hospital with Henry (Adam and I did shifts) but we were also very lucky to have Ad's folks, Jim and Jen, staying with us for the duration which gave Tilly a bit of extra stability too.

These two photos were taken by Jim sometime when I was on the hospital shift: does she look unhappy to you?! Gorgeous girl. And cute boy in the background too. Bonus.

Nice pegs.

But I digress.

I had a breakthrough tonight in which Henry finally moved on from jelly to minced meat, hooray hooray! Unspeakably happy. (Jelly is the devil's food and I have nothing good to say about it except *cough* I guess it has single-handedly kept H-Bomb's blood sugar levels up this past week.)

As a complete aside, also, I am celebrating the fact I'm about to hit 11,000 page views on this humble little old blog and I wanted to say THANKS FOR READING!!! Really. And commenting. You KNOW I love that.

You're marvelous, thank you for your company. I feel like I'm sitting down for a cup of tea with you every time I write a post. I love it, and I'm grateful.
