October 24, 2010 at 11:11 pmI hope this isn’t a duplicate comment – I just tried once and it wouldn’t have me. We’re waiting for the real happiness that is sausages and mash to cook before tucking in. Fab pictures, and the same goes for the haircut.

October 25, 2010 at 2:44 amHaircut is great! All the foodie stuff looks yummo as always… salivating now, mmmm. Hoorah for baby rolls too. Our little man recently mastered the roll too and has rapidly progressed to triple rolls and ends up in the weirdest places, completely stuck.

October 25, 2010 at 8:11 amWhat a terrific haircut. There’s nothing like a good one to make you feel a million bucks. I’m amazed that Ivy is rolling already?!
Happy round here: the start of (non-stop) baby babbling, the 5yo happily reading to himself (praise be!), the finish of a freelance piece I thought was going to take *forever*, and the news that our boy has been accepted to the (local) school we’re slightly out of area for.
Yes, while there are many stresses in this household at the moment there are also lots of HAPPY bits too! Thanks for the reminder of that. x

October 25, 2010 at 9:01 amSpunky haircut Mrs!!
I can’t believe your little girl is already rolling over. I feel like a surrogate aunty, having watched her grow through photographs over the last few months.
Happiness for me this weekend has been…..homemade bread, pesto and soup….managing a 4km run every day, rain or shine (or hail as today was)…procuring plants for my winter herb garden….vegan sunday roast at Saf in Kensington…walk in the afternoon sun around the pretty streets of SW7 and fantasising about houses I might one day be able to afford to buy…new jeans…new boots…booking our honeymoon to Portugal….being brought tea in bed…good times.
Have a great week! xxx

October 25, 2010 at 2:35 pmHappiness is a 5 year old’s bounce back from tonsillitis (love that penicillin)…. orange cake with cream cheese icing for morning tea, then finishing it for afternoon tea….how good you can feel after doing exercise…..a 2 year old who says “good boy, Mum”….and most of all, belly laughing with your family at dinner….

October 25, 2010 at 10:48 pmOne of my new favourites, that book- definitely to be read with a pen handy! It’s changed my outlook so much, but hasn’t yet had much effect on my everyday. Feeling lots of contradictions in myself.
Happy things here…
1 week old perfect little brother for Henry’s best friend,
Leftovers for lunch of the yummy Nigel potato bake that went with last night’s roast chook- same meal I delivered to parents of new baby,
Plenty of houses coming and going on the market, for when ours sells- fun to keep looking. Toying with ideas of a fixer-upper, but not sure we’re brave enough,
Comedy 2-year-old. Recently watched Toy Story with his Dad (we’re off to Disney on Ice next weekend!) and LOVES Buzz and Woody. (Woody the “boy-cow.”)
Nap time!
