heart felt

I bought this hat for Ivy for Christmas.

It's still a bit big for Ivy and maybe a bit small for her big sister but she's wearing it (for now) anyway. Ivy doesn't mind.

Gorgeous, right? It's made by this cool lady who specialises in felt and in up-cycling old clothes.

This was a jumper, I believe.

She usually has an Etsy shop which is currently unstocked but I think you can buy some of her craft over here

Wait Tilly! I only got two shots! They might not even be in focus!

And just like that.

Blue yonder.

That is a great hat, I love the appliqued leaf. Might have to have a go at something like this… I seem to have no bother felting wool (I have a cupboard full of shrunken, mishapen jumpers).I love the idea of upcycling – so much more practical than my idea of storing the shrunken garments until we meet a midget to hand them down to!

How lovely! Thank-you for posting the photographs, I don’t get to see many but love it dearly when I do! J.xx

Oh I LOVE the hat! I make little stuffed animals (and some ornaments and pillows) out of recycled clothing, particularly sweaters, and it’s so much fun to repurpose my old clothes into something fresh and new!
