oven on, butter out of fridge

Because when you are a tad anxious, what else do you do other than bake?

There's something unquantifiably comforting about baking. Especially Nan's butter cake. Into cup cakes. With my two favourite sous chefs.

They won't win any awards but edible craft is still my favourite way to spend an afternoon with small people.
