I've been a huge fan of playgroups every since I landed in Brisbane three years ago not knowing anyone and stumbled into the most fabulous and friendly playgroup for the duration of our time there. 

Now back in Sydney, we now go to an open play session at Lifestart once a week (for Henry, who has developmental impairment) and we love it just as much.

It's been so cold here but today was crisp and sunny, a perfect Sydney winter day.

The session includes siblings, so Tilly can come too. Her favourite bit, I think, is morning tea.

Henry's favourite thing is the parachute…
