please bear with me…

…I am currently copying hundreds of photos from a backup harddrive to my now beloved Mac. The one I've had for nearly a year, since this incident when my previous laptop up and died on me.

I found year-old photos I'd only ever looked at once before the computer karked it, these three from my father in law, Jim:

Oh my goodness look at her. She still wears that shirt. TOTALLY not that colour now though.

He's rather good with a camera, that Jim Walmsley.

Oh look, one more much older one from Jim – H Bomb at about 16 months old I think:

And I like this one, even older, I loved this little red jumper, wonder if it's still in a box somewhere…

And of course, time on the farm with Grandpa…

OK, that's back far enough. Sorry about that.

Big week this week – I just resigned from my job. The one I really like. With people I REALLY like.

I've said before, unashamedly, how much I love a bit of a job. But really, with a number three imminent, it all feels a bit impractical (and I'm really starting to forget things. Best get out before I forget something major.) So a month or so left in it, then onto the next adventure.

And while I was looking for that link, I found this one, posted almost a year ago now, about all the short cuts I was taking at the time and the demise of my eyebrows.

Ha!

Can only begin to imagine the short cutting coming this way soon!

quit your job – wow, big news! From a completely selfish point of view, does that mean I get to see you more often – yupee! ALthough that being said I’ll probably start working before too soon… Still there’s gotta be a few cups of tea to be had before that! LOved the pics of Henry as a baby by the way…
