treats for you, not them
Not sure about you but I occasionally have a stash of something totally un-allowed in the cupboard. Not just child unfriendly but totally inappropriate.
It's my own secret stash. A particular treat for a particularly dire afternoon perhaps, when the whinging and whining and washing just about does me in.
Peanut M&Ms.
I blame Rachel (beloved sister in law) for this weakness too. A bit like the McVities, surely without Rachel I would never have discovered the chocolately marvellousness of a peanut M&M?
Those fabulously artificial colours.
The fact they could easily be magic beans, designed to grow a beanstalk.
Adam doesn't even like them. Perfect.
What's your crutch? Please confess!!

July 28, 2009 at 6:27 pmCrunchie bars: 100% sugar with a bit of bicarb ot make it honeycomb – all wrapped in chocolate! On slightly classier occassions, I can eat my way through an entire bar of Green and Black’s chocolate… any flavour, but the darker and more bitter the better! Oh, and cheese – LOTS of it! x

July 29, 2009 at 7:30 amAnything with high levels of sugar or fat really, I’m particularly unparticular!! chips, icecream, chocolate, sweet biscuits, anything.
And I couldn’t have peanut M & Ms in the house. period. They wouldn’t make it in the door. There’d be no waiting for a bad day, I would have devoured them within moments of buying them, with a tragic lack of self control… I’m not even sure they’d get to the car!

September 20, 2009 at 10:06 pmOh my goodness, we must be related somehow. Peanut M&M’s are my current obsession too! I discovered a remaining one in my bag yesterday (goodness knows how old it is) and have developed a weird sentimental attachment to it instead of eating it.
