weekendiness
Wintertime in Sydney.
SO dreadful. A horrible place to live. The poor children.
They're having a miserable day (with some favourite friends, also miserable?)
Hope you're having an equally miserable weekend, gorgeous people.

August 28, 2010 at 9:49 pmVery funny. So really, how low does the temperature get in Australia? It looks so warm and lovely but I think I would still miss the snow. Ah, maybe I can get over never seeing snow again 😉

August 28, 2010 at 9:50 pmYep, also miserable here in sunny western australia. HAD to spend the morning gardening! Then the afternoon sitting in the sun, knitting, drinking wine with friends….how Do we do it?????

August 28, 2010 at 9:53 pmOh how I miss the beach. I’m sad we had to move away from it. But the times we get to return are even more glorious. Off to discover what my “miserable” weekend is going to look like.

August 28, 2010 at 10:39 pmBits of Australia get very cold. The wind whistling through the hayshed at my parents place can sometimes feel Arctic! But in Sydney if it drops below about 15 degrees Celcius (60F) we rush around turning on heaters and piling on the jumpers!

August 29, 2010 at 4:56 amOoh, there was a cold wind here in London this afternoon- I was doing an end of summer tidy up in the garden, and Autumn is definitely on the way. Sad, sad, sad. The Aussie coast is firmly in my heart and (almost as firmly) in my future. Long weekend, though, and Notting Hill carnival tomorrow, so there’s an upside!
