well hello!
No, not hello new baby, hello brain! (And hello enormous belly!)
How interesting is acupuncture!? Wow. I had a small moment of panic as she came at me with a needle for my tummy, but gosh, what a cool treatment. And I swear I felt like I was seeing the world more clearly when I was finished. Clear. That's kinda how it felt.
Anyway, while being slightly less knocked about by the blood pressure meds today, I thought I'd drop in and say hello.
We've been having the most lovely time, Tilly and I.
Doing a bit of IKEA shopping, the kitchen section. Gah, LOVE it.
Look at these cupcake (actually 'patty cake', more like it) pans:
(And you KNOW I'm not here to sell you anything, right? But seriously, these are $1.99 for 65 papers. That is SO cheap.)
And with the Drömmar pan, they make the cutest stand-up shaped cupcakes.
The skill I am most proud of in my three year old? Her ability to smoothly crack eggs, zero shell. Awesome.
Yum!
Good to go.
Happy as Larry.
Right as rain.
OK UNIVERSE?! CAN YOU HEAR ME??!

I totally have that cardigan and I went to ikea for a ‘baby inducing wander’ the other day…. only difference is I am SURE my belly is twice as large as yours!

June 25, 2010 at 3:36 pmI should have mentioned eating cake in the last comment. I think cake eating is merited at all points: pre-baby, to bring the baby on, post-baby etc. All occasions.
The nursery area looks beautiful.

June 25, 2010 at 5:14 pmWow – you look so lovely! I nearly fell over as I scrolled down the page though – we had exactly the same bassinet for our wee babies – it was the one Jay and his sisters had when they were babies and his mother before that. Identical!!! Even down to the colour it’s currently painted (apparently there were a few interesting colour schemes in intervening years).

June 26, 2010 at 10:17 amcool! this one is also an old family one used by many many many babies! It originally belonged to my great aunt (I think that’s the right relationship) – my Nan’s sister’s daughter. My mum’s aunt.

June 26, 2010 at 4:16 pmLove the belly. Think positive about the back of the car births. Rule of thumb each one is half as short as the last. I hope that Tilly’s labour was more than 2 hours or you may be in a spot of bother. Keeps some towels and gloves in the back of the prius just in case. LOL
